Die Wohnung ist grosszügig, sehr sauber und gepflegt, zentral und ruhig gelegen. An- und Abreise unkompliziert und flexibel. Frau Lucci ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück wurde nach unseren Wünschen eingekauft und bereitgestellt. Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft weiter.

First-rate in every respect. Beautiful, squeaky-clean, comfortable and quiet rooms and bathrooms.
Ideal central location on a nice street, close to public transportation with possibility to rent an indoor parking lot.
Coffee machine with free Nespresso and wonderful fully equipped kitchen (this is a big residential apartment).
The host, Loredana, is extremely kind and effective. She is totally dedicated to the guests and spares no efforts to accommodate them and to go beyond the expectations.

Wir sind begeistert vom freundlichen, informativen Empfang, und der wirklichen tollen Wohnung. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und gross.
Die Lage ist perfekt und die Einkaufsmöglichkeit nahe. Basel hat viel Schönes zu bieten. Die Museen waren wieder geöffnet. So verflog die Zeit des Aufenthalts viel zu schnell. Herzlichen Dank an Signora Lucci.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr flexibel und zuvorkommend. Es hat alles gepasst.

Wir waren begeistert! Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Sodass wir uns selber verpflegen konnten. Frau Lucci ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr praktisch war der Tiefgaragenparkplatz den man dazumieten konnte. Von da aus konnten wir alles zu Fuss erledigen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Take away hat es gerade um die Ecke.
Frau Lucci hat auch liebevoll die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten erklärt und auf dem Stadtplan eingezeichnet. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit, um die Stadt zu besichtigen.
Bei einem Anliegen, haben wir sofort eine Antwort bekommen und Sie kümmerte sich umgehend darum. Auch die Abreise war total unkompliziert und für uns perfekt.

Wegen der Coronazeit konnten wir die zwei Einzelzimmer besetzen und das übrige Zimmer wurde an keine weiteren Personen vermietet.

Lieben Dank Frau Lucci, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich bin total von begeistert von meinem 5 tägigen Aufenthalt im Bed and Breakfast Buonanotte. Für mich war alles perfekt und ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt wie zu Hause.
Der Empfang durch Loredana herzlich, zuvorkommend, sehr hilfsbereit - sogar mit Computerfragen!
Wegen Corona durfte ich alleine in der schönen Wohnung sein - das war natürlich Spitze!
Das Logis blitzblank sauber. Herrliches Frühstück - ich konnte sogar wählen was ich gerne möchte und Loredana hat liebevoll eingekauft.

Loredana hat auch sehr liebevoll die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten erklärt und auf dem Stadtplan eingezeichnet. Leider hatte ich keine Zeit, um die schöne Stadt zu besichtigen. Ich habe schon mit einer Freundin besprochen - baldmöglichst einen Ausflug nach Basel zu machen. Natürlich hoffe ich, dass das Logis dann frei ist.

Che bellissima vacanza in famiglia abbiamo trascorso! Davvero tutto impeccabile. Sembrava di essere proprio a casa nostra: la signora Loredana ci ha accolti come se fossimo amici di famiglia di lunga data.

Lage, Sauberkeit, ruhige Umgebung sehr gut. Freundlicher Empfang mit allen nötigen Informationen.
Grosszügiges Wohnzimmer und Küche zur Verfügung.
Enttäuscht war ich vom Frühstück. Abgepacktes Gipfel vom Grossverteiler, dito für Butter und Confitüre. Entsprach nicht meinen Erwartungen an das angepriesene Deluxe Frühstück.
Schade.

Ich kann die Zimmer/Wohnung sehr empfehlen; kurzer Weg in die Altstadt, aber ruhige Lage; Ausstattung prima; sehr nette Begrüßung und Empfehlung zum Stadtrundgang. Jederzeit wieder gerne.

I stayed two nights and was very happy with everything! The appartment ist located in a quite area but very central. It was very clean and Loredana made me feel home instantly. I will come back!

A nicely situated B&B which I have used 2 weeks out of 4 for the last year. Clean, tidy and efficiently run by Loredana who is always friendly and reliable. Her stylish Italian side complements nicely her efficient Swiss German side to create a home from home.

La mia famiglia ha passato due stupende settimane a Basilea, alloggiando in questo BNB. Abbiamo preso tutto l’appartamento ed è stato come essere a casa nostra. La posizione è eccezionale, la zona ottima e, molto importante, abbiamo avuto anche il posto auto interno.
Di sicuro ritorneremo. Grazie sincere alla Signora Lucci Loredana per tutto.

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo trascorso sei giorni a Basilea, alloggiati nel bellissimo B&B "Buonanotte". L'appartamento è situato in una posizione veramente comoda: a piedi, in pochi minuti, si raggiunge il centro storico della città. Lungo due vicine strade laterali ci sono fermate dei tram e un supermercato fornitissimo. A pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge un parco pubblico con tanti giochi per bambini, alberi altissimi e tanto verde. Il B&B è molto confortevole e curato nei dettagli. La cucina è ben attrezzata, le stanze da letto ampie con letti confortevoli ed anche i bagni sono spaziosi.
La signora Lucci è straordinariamente gentile e molto attenta; è stato un piacere conoscerla.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at Bed and Breakfast Buonanotte. We cannot say enough about the care taken by Frau Lucci to ensure that everything was perfect. The B and B was extraordinarily clean. The beds were comfortable, the private bath that we had in our suite was spacious and well appointed. The selection of foods for breakfast was good, and Frau Lucci was more than willing to tailor this to our wants. We loved the location since it was not on a busy street and yet was still only 1 1/2 blocks away from the tram stop. For those traveling to Basel for the first time, public transportation is timely, extensive, and easy to use. The Basel Pass given as part of the stay is wonderful since it means that one basically can travel all over Basel without additional charge. In summary, I think that we will certainly stay at Buonanotte if we return to Basel. In fact, I have already inquired about a stay next summer.

In order to set realistic expectations for U.S. travelers, a few points may be helpful. The Swiss are much more concerned about the environment that the typical American. They recognize the impact on the environment of air conditioning. The tallest building in Basel, the Roche headquarters completed in the last several years is NOT air-conditioned. Neither is the B&B. Since most summer evenings are mild, this is not problematic for most visitors, but the B&B could be warm during the hottest part of the summer. In the U.S. many B&Bs are spacious homes remodeled to contain suites. This is more of an urban B&B -- a city apartment with three bedrooms, but shared common areas. Finally, in some U.S. B&B's the breakfast is prepared for guests. In BandB Buonanotte, all of the ingredients are there, but each person makes his/her own breakfast. Frau Lucci takes care of the clean-up and keeps the kitchen well stocked. I suspect that many of these things would be true of most BandBs in Switzerland. None of these factors were problematic for us. We positively loved our stay. However, I hope that U.S. visitors have accurate expectations. In summary, this is a great place to stay, and gives good value for the money given how expensive stays in Switzerland, and Basel in particular can be.

I went for Basler Fasnacht (carneval of Basle) and it was absolutely perfekt. The closeness, the host and especially the quietness although the city is so close and the cleenliness was perfekt and everything was so sparkling I hardly wanted to touch anything to not spoil anything...

Tolle Unterkunft in ruhiger und zentraler Lage. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Loredana Lucci ist sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird auf Wunsch zusammengestellt. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Il tutto ottimo, siamo molto soddisfatti, ci torneremo senz'altro.

Ganz empfehlenswert: mit Frau Lucci haben wir noch mal ein schönes Aufenthalt in Basel verbracht und wir haben die genaue familiäre Atmosphäre gespürt. Wir bedanke uns herzliche und sicher komme wir wieder.

My wife and I spent three nights at B&B Buonanotte in Basel in mid-June 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the excellent hospitality of Loredana Lucci, the owner/manager. Both our room and the amenities of the apartment were excellent. Food for breakfast was provided, and included an assortment of items. The bed was very comfortable, and the toilet/bathroom was well-designed and clean. We had a pleasant view from our room to a landscaped backyard, and the it was a quiet, pleasant location. The underground parking was convenient, and the lift helped us in transferring luggage from the garage.
The apartment is within walking distance of downtown Basel, and there is convenient tram transportation to any part of the city. We used the tram to reach the Art Basel Exhibition that was occurring on the north side of town. We found a grocery store two blocks away, and very good restaurants within a short distance of the apartment.
Loredana was a very conscientious host, and provided excellent information about the apartment and tourist sights. She visited the apartment daily, and provided very good logistical support. She was also a very good communicator when initially making the reservation.
One observation I would make, unrelated to B&B Buonanotte, is that driving in Basel was a challenge for me. There are many one-way streets, and two-way streets that end up becoming one way unexpectedly. Even with GPS and Google Maps, it was definitely a challenge. I would encourage anyone planning on driving in Basel to get a detailed city street map before arriving!

Excellent place to stay in Basel. Located close to trams, close to grocery, on a quiet, residential street. Host is very helpful and provides generous breakfast items, as well as special treats. Kitchen was well equipped and apartment was very clean. Highly recommended.

Sehr guter und freundlicher Empfang, alles in Bester Ordnung, grosses Doppelzimmer mit anschliessendem Bad, sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder.

Zentrale, saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft mit gutem Frühstücksangebot. Die Gastgeberin ist äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend und schafft es mit ihrer herzlichen Art, dass man sich im Nu wie zu Hause fühlt. Kann dieses Bnb nur weiter empfehlen!

Wir waren sehr gut aufgehoben. Optimale Lage, sauber, freundliche Zimmer, gut eingerichtete Küche, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Einzig überrascht waren wir vom Frühstück, welches als "Deluxe" angeboten wird, aber weder Käse noch Fleisch vorzufinden war. Für unsere Zwecke während der Fasnacht aber genügend. In Fussdistanz zu Innenstadt und Bahnhof.

Sehr saubere und freundliche Unterkunft mit idealer Lage. Innenstadt und Basler Zoo in Gehdistanz. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Wir würden mit Familie jederzeit wieder buchen.

We rented the entire apartment for 3 nights prior to embarking on the Rhine River cruise with Viking. BEST DECISION EVER! I cannot say enough about the owner - attentive, quick to respond both to emails and requests, and very helpful with suggestions about trams, trains, and MUST places to visit. The apartment is very conveniently located - near historic Basel, a grocery store, the tram stop and a bus stop! The apartment is extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped! Breakfasts were yummy!!! I hope that when I travel to another European city prior to our next Viking cruise that I can find a place just like this one!!! THE BEST!!! If I could Loredana an "11", I would!!!!

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht! eine so angenehme Wohnung für 4 Tage nutzen zu können. Das B&B liegt verkehrsgünstig sehr gut. Man kann auch zufuß in das historische Zentrum von Basel gehen. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin war sehr gut. Man konnte eine gut eingerichtete Küche nutzen und sich so jederzeit auch mal einen Tee kochen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Basel wäre ich gern wieder Gast bei Frau Lucci.

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hat mich am Eingang des BnBs erwartet. Durch die zuvor zugesendete Wegbeschreibung habe ich das BnB sofort gefunden. Loredana war sehr hilfsbereit und stellte mir gleich einen Stadtplan zur Verfügung und zeigte mir die Wege, die ich für meinen Aufenthalt in Basel brauchte.

Die Unterkunft besteht aus einer modernen, hellen, sehr schönen Wohnung, in der es für ein BnB an nichts fehlt: Eine gut ausgestattete Küche ist vorhanden, mit allem für ein gutes Frühstück (Müsli, Brot, Croissant, Aufstriche, Kaffeemaschine, Tees, Obst, Joghurt, ...). Die Schlafzimmer sind zu einem ruhigen Innenhof gelegen, das Wohnzimmer (mit Schreibtisch, Sofa und TV) mit Terrasse (!) sind zu einer ruhigen Straße gelegen.

Das BnB ist zentral gelegen: 2 Tramstationen vom Bahnhof (SBB), direkte Tramverbindung zum Badischen Bahnhof (Deutsche Bahn), zur Uni und zur historischen Altstadt wenige Minuten zu Fuß.

Le B&B Buonanotte est un appartement complet, propre et bien équipé, qu'on partage avec les autres clients. Situé tout près du centre, il offre même une place de parking pour les voyageurs qui ont eu la mauvaise idée de venir à Bâle en voiture. Mme Lucci offre un accueil hors pair et prend bien le temps de renseigner sa clientèle sur les attraits de sa ville.

A perfect place to stay for a city break in Basel! The host made us a very nice welcome and was there to help us for everything. The place is close to the tram station. A very cosy and pleasant flat. I'd recommend highly!

Meine Eltern sind nach Basel gekommen um mich zu besuchen. Ich habe für sie ein Zimmer in diesem B&B gebucht. Es war die beste Idee die man haben könnte: die Wohnung hat viel Platz, wifi funktioniert top, die Küche ist sauber und blickend, es gibt sogar zwei Balkonen, Toilette sieht perfekt aus und es gibt auch gratis Parkplatz. Das Stadtzentrum ist Mega einfach zu erreichen, sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Tram.
Die Vermieterin ist top freundlich und gibt Wichtigkeit zu jedem Detail.
Meine Eltern sind sehr zufrieden da gewesen und möchten sicher in diesen B&B wiederkommen.
Ich bedanke mich herzlich mit Frau Lucci und wünsche ihr ein super 2017.

Mes parents sont venu à Bâle pour me rendre visite. J'avait réservé pour elles une chambre dans ce B&B. Il était la meilleure idée que l'on pourrait avoir: le logement a beaucoup de place, wifi fonctionne top, la cuisine est propre, il y a même deux Balcons, les toilettes prévoient parfaitement et il y a aussi gratis parking. Le centre-ville est mega facile à atteindre, à pied et avec par tram aussi.
La propriétaire est très aimable et donne de l'importance à chaque détail.
Mes parents sont très satisfaits et ils voulaient retourner certainement dans ces B&B à loger.
Je remercie de tout coeur Mme Lucci et je lui souhaite un super 2017.

I miei genitori sono venuti a Basilea a farmi visita. Per loro, avevo prenotato una stanza in questo B&B. Mai altra idea fu più azzeccata: l'appartamento è alquanto spazioso, il Wi-Fi funziona perfettamente, la cucina è pulita e splendente, i bagni sono ampi e ben tenuti, ci sono addirittura due balconi. Da non sottovalutare, il parcheggio gratuito nel garage sotterraneo condominiale.
Si raggiunge benissimo sia a piedi che in tram il centro storico della città.
La proprietaria è davvero un'ottima persona: si vede che ha cura di ogni dettaglio.
I miei genitori sono tornati a casa felici e certamente vorranno ritornare ad alloggiare qui in futuro.
Da parte mia, ringrazio sentitamente la Signora Lucci e le auguro un ottimo 2017.

As you can see from our ratings, we can not say enough good things about the Bed and Breakfast and Loredana, our host. The apartment is lovely and spacious. It has 2 balconies, a very nice sitting room and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Loredana gave excellent directions from the airport and we found the apartment with no difficulty. It is conveniently located so that walking to town is very easy or riding the tram. It is quiet and relaxing after a day of sight seeing. Loredana, herself is a fund or information, very helpful and very accommodating. She made our stay very relaxed and enabled us to easily explore Basel. A Wonderful Stay. Il B&B è situato in una zona molto centrale e molto tranquilla. Ben attrezzato, pulitissimo, con una grande cucina e un grande soggiorno. La proprietaria è molto disponibile e gentilissima. Ci tornerò e non esiterò a raccomandarlo ad amici o colleghi.

This is a lovely apartment and a great value! The location is great -- on a quiet street yet very close to Old Town, the train station, and bus routes. After spending a week on a river cruise, it was so nice to arrive to a large and spacious apartment with lots of room to spread out and enjoy the comforts of home. It is because of this apartment and such a gracious and warm innkeeper that I would return to Basal! Definitely worth the trip!

L.'Appartamento è in un' ottima posizione. E' favorevole per qualsiasi spostamento: Centro, Stazione e Aeroporto. Molto accogliente, silenzioso e luminoso. Bella la vista sul cortile interno. Comodissimo il parcheggio interno. La Sig.ra Loredana, molto disponibile, ci ha fornito tutte le informazione in modo preciso e dettagliato. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

On se sent comme à la maison : très bien accueilli, un très bon lit et un salon et une cuisine à disposition. On se sent très bien dans cet appartement transformé en Bed and Breakfast. L'endroit est calme et tranquille et accessible très facilement depuis la gare CFF.

Excellent and well-located B and B close to the train station as well as central Basel. Very clean with stylish furniture and a full kitchen. It is exactly as described. The B and B is located in a quiet area with good access to trams. Very highly recommended.

Siamo una famiglia con due bambine di 4 e 8 anni, e abbiamo fatto un breve soggiorno per visitare lo zoo di basilea. abbiamo approfittato della posizione centrale per uscire a piedi e fare un giro in tram per vedere la città. Ci sono state molto utili le indicazioni della gentilissima signora Lucci. L'appartamento è molto buono, spazioso, pulito e dotato di ogni comfort come da descrizione. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la tranquillità della posizione delle camere che danno sul retro, molto silenzioso. Il posteggio è pure una comodità importante. per la colazione, in cucina, c'è tutto quello che serve. In sostanza lo consigliamo vivamente.

We have stayed in BnB Buonanotte for two nights. Buonanotte is different from usual BnBs, which are generally big houses with 5-10 ensuite rooms with breakfast served on the ground/first floor and rooms cleaned daily. Buonanotte is a two-bedroom apartment, which feels much more like Airbnb rather than a hotel. We were lucky to have the whole flat to ourselves and we felt very much at home and totally enjoyed our stay! The host, Loredana, is exceptionally friendly and hospitable. She couldn't have done better to please us. However, if we were to share the flat with another couple, we would have felt much less comfortable and probably preferred a hotel, which price was comparable to the BnB.

Eccellente! Tutto curato e pulito. Camera elegante con terrazzino privato che affaccia su un giardino incantevole. Bagno grande con doppio lavabo e attrezzato.
La proprietaria gentile e sorridente è sempre presente e sensibile a soddisfare le esisgenze del cliente! A colazione non mancano prodotti tipici appena sfornati!
Che dire, un piccolo angolo di paradiso  a pochi minuti dal centro di Basilea.

I am staying in Basel on a regular Basis and this place is my favourite (I tryed several BnBs and a lot of hotels).
The owner is really nice and has a friendly italian character. She is very willing to help with special wishes, for example if you like vegetables.
The location is perfect, walking distance to the central train station, bus stop to the airport, a small Supermarket, and really close to downtown and some cool bars, and even the zoo. Check in: This is one thing all privately owned BnBs have: you cannot arrive say at 2 am.
But in total it is a really good value for the price and I recommend everyone to stay here.

La gentilezza dell'ospitante, la cura nella pulizia, la luminosità degli ambienti e il buon confort assicurato da tutte le dotazioni dell'appartamento, i buoni collegamenti con il centro città e nello stesso tempo la tranquillità del quartiere sono le caratteristiche principali di questo b&b.
