Cuddly Canopy Bed in Former Cowshed

This place is amazing! Lisbeth is so kind, helpful, and super informative. We have appreciated how from the minute we arrived we have felt secure and safe. The place is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was also very delicious and fresh. We were sad our stay was short, but would definitely return!

Merveilleux séjour à Cows meet the City, où Lisbeth nous a chaleureusement accueillies. La chambre et sa salle de bain privée, ainsi que la cuisine commune, sont très bien équipées. À mon goût, le matelas était un peu trop ferme — mais cela n’a pas dérangé ma fille. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et ne manquerai pas d’y revenir.

Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Bildern, in guter Lage, die Gastheberin war immer entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit.

What a great place to stay! Lisbeth is the perfect hostess. Kind, friendly, helpful. She knows all about the region, the public transportation. Just ask, and she knows the answer! I felt very welcome. Coffee available all day. What a great breakfast! What a nice room and bathroom. I come back! :-)

This is a first class bnb and definitely worth it’s 4 star rating. Lisbeth is an excellent host and we had an absolutely brilliant breakfast on the 2 mornings we stayed. The accommodation is faultless, very comfortable and convenient for getting into the city.

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Die perfekte, ursprungsbezogene Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und stilecht bis ins Detail. Nasszelle und Küchenzeile sehr gepflegt und sauber. Preis-Leistung top. Die vorgängig gelesenen, positiven Bewertungen bestätigten sich in jeder Hinsicht. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Outstanding room & location. 2 excellent restaurants within 1 minute walk. Host provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. A great place to stay coming or going to the Zurich airport, with bus pickup in walking distance.

« Cow meets City » is a very comfortable B’n’B located in a cute little town near the airport and close to the city of Zürich!
The owner, Lisbeth, was a great hostess and cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and was very aware of the events happening in the region and could answer all our questions!
The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean and beautifully decorated!
Everything went smoothly and I could not recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely come back whenever I need a place to stay in the region!

We came from the USA and we were happy to stay at " Cow meets City" Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed the wonderful room, the modern bath, the proch and the comfortable bed. The décor is absolutely stunning. Also had a nice breakfast in the morning and the hostees was so kind to serve us at any time we wished which worked out great because we had to catch an early morning flight back to the United States.
The Hostess was so kind to tell us the shortcut to the airport which was really important since there is so much construction on the main atery in Zuerich.
We hope to come back and enjoy the Bed and Breakfast for more than a day.

Hi zusammen,
ich kam mir etwas komisch vor hier jetzt in jeder Kategorie 10 Punkte zu verteilen, aber es ist einfach so! Der Aufenthalt war von vorne bis hinten perfekt. Frau Frei war super angenehm im Kontakt und das Frühstück war sehr sehr lecker.
Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Excellent choice for staying for b&b on a bike tour.

Frau Lisbeth Frei ist eine sympathische Gastgeberin. Auf Anfrage informierte mich Lisbeth über die Restaurants im Dorf. Das BnB befindet sich an einem guten Ausgangspunkt. Ich habe ein superschönes Zimmer mit Dusche und WC erhalten. Alles ist sauber und urchig/modern eingerichtet. Das Morgenessen genoss ich sehr. Ein Genuss für Augen, Nase und Mund. Bravo. Preis/Leistung stimmt für mich zu 100 %. Mit bester Empfehlung, Yvan

Ich hätte mir den Aufenthalt nicht besser vorstellen können.

- Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin
- Die Gastgeberin machte mir das Frühstück extra früh bereit (und erfragte, ob ich spezielle Wünsche habe)
- Geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer
- Ruhig gelegen
- Parkplatz oder Tiefgaragenplatz vorhanden und gratis nutzbar
- Wunderbare Location nahe Zürich und doch ländlich gelegen

Aus obigen Gründen kann ich das Cow meets City jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Ich bin bei Lisbeth Frei bereits einige Male im BnB gewesen und fühle mich dort schon fast wie zu Hause. Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Das Zimmer ist absolut traumhaft eingerichtet und Frau Frei ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Wer einmal bei ihr war hat sich an einen sehr hohen Qualitätsstandard gewohnt. Ich kann das BnB von Frau Frei absolut weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank Lisbeth, auf meine Aufenthalte bei dir habe ich mich immer sehr gefreut. Ich komme wieder!

Beste Unterkunft, die frau sich vorstellen kann. Die Gastgeber sind mehr als hilfsbereit und Ihr "Service-Bewusstsein" sucht ihresgleichen :-) Viele Hotels könnten sich davon eine Scheibe abschneiden...

Komme seit mehr als 2 Jahren ca. einmal im Monat ins "Cow meets City" und werde immer wiederkommen...
