The Year-round destination offers pure variety. Skiing, tobogganing, night sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing are just some of the activities available in Villars, Gryon, Les Diablerets, Leysin, Yverdon-les-Bains or on the Glacier 3000 possible winter activities.

Friends of the warmer season and slow traffic will find here numerous Hiking and biking trailswhich lead through the hills of the Vaud region. And with the rack railroads you can climb the highest peaks.

But also at places of interest, e.g. the Chillon Castle or the Jet d'Eau (fountain), Geneva's landmark, and there is no shortage of cultural offerings. Among the probably best known are the Montreux Jazz Festival or the Chaplin Museum.  

If you like it quiet and idyllic, you are in this Wine tourism destination just right. Numerous white wine vines adorn the slopes along the lakes in the canton of Vaud.

Culture, sports, and scenery: depending on your interests and the time of year, the region is definitely worth exploring.
