Winter
The Graubünden region is one of the most popular winter resorts of Switzerland. More than 40 ski resorts invite you to skiing, snowboarding, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Quite adventurous book an adrenaline ride on the 1722 m long Olympic bobsleigh run in St. Moritz. In 75 seconds, you'll thunder toward the finish line at a top speed of 135 km/h.
White is the dominant color in Graubünden, which is why Golf Enthusiasts during the long winter months even with red balls on the "white greens" Play snow golf.
Summer/Fall
The Rhaetian Railway enjoys great popularity. Its intense red color cannot be overlooked even from afar as it winds elegantly through the landscape, reliably taking you to the most beautiful places in the region. In the warm months, the area is ideal for hiking (eg. Globi hiking trail, marmot trail), mountain biking, cycling, golfing, climbing, mountaineering, canoeing. A visit to the Safier local history museum, of the Taras castle or one old silver mine is also recommended.
Don't miss the fabulous changing colors of October and November, when the larches turn golden orange and the scenery is transformed into a fairytale setting.
