Back to nature! A farm stay is a popular choice

Many farmhouses are set amid the loveliest scenery, so there are often hiking trails or cycling/mountain-biking routes right outside the gate. Holidays surrounded by fields and meadows, with little through traffic, are also perfect for families with children, and lovers of the great outdoors will be in their element. ‘Nature wants you back’, as mySwitzerland says. Guests start the day with a delicious breakfast that more often than not will feature home-made produce that you’ll be able to buy and take home to friends and family. A farm stay is an unforgettable experience for young and old(er) alike.

Members of the Farm vacations association (Feba) are specially marked. The association logo also appears with the list of facilities. Working farms are not necessarily livestock farms. If you would like to help out, please ask beforehand.

Sweating in a Former Goat Shed

Sweat it out. Or enjoy a relaxing dip. For those who like it a little hotter: 90 minutes of healthy sweating in our sauna shed with a sauna barrel and cold-water tub. (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, by prior arrangement, for a maximum of four people). For everyone else: a cosy wellness area in the house with a bio-sauna made of Swiss pine wood, a heated stone lounger, and a retro bathtub with mountain views. (CHF 25.00 per person) (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, by prior arrangement, 120 minutes for a maximum of two people).
