In July 2017, I converted my house into a BnB. It is perfectly suited as a BnB, and the location couldn't be better. Right on several hiking routes. Near the biking routes “Herzroute 99” and “Veloroute 4”, plus the refreshing river in the summer. In the winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails are in front of the house, and a ski slope is only 200 m away. For children, there is a playground, pump track, and pony rides in the Reka-Feriendorf (resort village). Many sights: Säntis, Aescher / Wildkirchli, Hoher Kasten, Appenzell, museums, and spa.

Summer in Urnäsch

Lise is a very gracious hostess. We wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed Appenzell. Since it was our last night in Switzerland our visit was shortened due to an early flight. We didn't get to experience breakfast but I am sure it would have been wonderful. Communication was excellent

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Sehr gastfreundlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr feines Abendessen und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Schöne, ruhige und saubere Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Chez Lise kann ich nur empfehlen! Kommen gerne wieder.

A very comfortable place to spend time, with a lovely host. Lise makes a great breakfast, with homemade and local produce. She gave us good directions on places to eat and local events.
We enjoyed our hike around Urnäsch, beautiful area. The village itself is also nice, we were lucky to be there during the Alpabfahrt, which was lovely and festive. A great place from where to visit Appenzell, Sankt Gallen, Säntis.

Thanks a lot Anna-Maria for the great feedback. It was a plaisure to have you as guest in my house. It would be nice to see you again one day!

Sehr angenehme Gastgeberin. Leckeres Frühstück. Gute ruhige und zentrale Lage für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. 5 min zum Postauto. Können es nur empfehlen.
Tip: Mit der Ostschweizer Gästekarte „OSKAR“ kann man die Region fast Gratis erleben. ( Museen-Bergbahnen-Bus-Bahn-Wellness)!
