Only a five-minute walk to the restaurant "Friedberg". There are good connections with the PostBus to Weinfelden and Frauenfeld. In the summer, there is lively action on the glider airfield. Passenger flights can be booked spontaneously. The Way of St. James plus various cycle routes lead through Amlikon.
