The guest-house "les Soldanelles" is located in the peaceful hamlet of Bioley in the Trient valley, along the railway line Martigny - Chamonix. Quiet, ideal place to rest and relax, this mountain region offers a varied flora and fauna. Activities: hiking all year round, canyoning, climbing, mountain biking and skiing. The house has been carefully and comfortably renovated and travellers enjoy a hospitality according to the old tradition when diligences used to stop on their passage.

We enjoyed our stay (2 nights) in Salvan, in Bed and Breakfast run by Marianne.
Our host was kind, helpful and also gave us great recommendation regarding our one planned trip, to Emossen dam with views of Mont Blanc. It made our trip more interesting. This trip is easy to make from Salvan.
The apartment/studio was fine and clean in a countryside style.
There is a common area within a bigger breakfast room which is nice to relax in. It is also possible to sit in the garden, which is fine too.
The village itself is pleasantly quiet and nicely located.
