Wonderful accommodations and hosts. Located in a beautifully restored farmhouse located on a hillside with wonderful views and close access to hiking and autobahn access.

Just a beautiful, quiet accomodation. On a hillside overlooking a rural town, you feel in the middle of nature but yet are close to everything. If you fancy a break from reality, there are agricultural fields all around the house and a forest directly behind the house. The rooms are beautifully decorated and Denis and Sabine are wonderful, outgoing hosts. Just a perfect place to holiday!

Wir erreichten Birmenstorf mit unseren Fahrrädern mehr als 2 Stunden später als erwartet. Die Gastgeber Sabine und Denis waren sehr verständnisvoll und boten uns sogar ein Abendessen an. Wir nahmen das Angebot dankbar an und wurden überrascht von einem ausgezeichneten 3-Gang-Menü zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Das 200-jährige Bauernhaus wurde von den Besitzern aufwändig und liebevoll restauriert. Die beiden Zimmer sind grosszügig mit eigenem Bad und prachtvoller Aussicht ins Reusstal. Ein sehr gepflegter Garten umgibt das Haus und würde bei besserem Wetter als wir leider hatten zu einem gemütlichen Apéro einladen. Sehr empfehlenswert, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

Besonders für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen zur Entspannung und Auszeit, aber auch um in Ruhe Homeoffice zu machen. Das Haus und Umgebung hat alles, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Liebevolle Details sind vorhanden und machen es besonders. Wandern und Ruhe geniessen ist angesagt. Liebe Grüsse Katrin

My wife and I just completed our stay to decompress and experience one last bit of rural Switzerland before our flight home to the US. Denis and Sabine are wonderful hosts and speak English fluently. The apartment is gorgeous, quiet, super clean and very comfortable. Parking is right in front of the house with easy access to the freeway as well as the charming village of Birmenstorf. It took us less than 25 minutes to drive to the Zurich airport for our flight; a great alternative to staying in Zurich or at the airport. We were even treated to seeing a herd of cows walking through the fields behind the house during breakfast one morning - truly the consummate Swiss experience!!!

This B&B is in a wonderful old farmhouse that has been updated in every way. The hosts, Denis & Sabine, are amazing and have thought of every little thing you would need while you stay. While the location is in a small town, it is a very easy commute to Zurich downtown and walkable to the bus...and if you have a car, easy access to the highway. We enjoy staying here and would highly recommend!

FABULEUX ! Sabine et Denis nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse; la rénovation qu'ils ont orchestré sur cette ancienne bâtisse est juste magnifique ; nous avons passé un séjour admirable et vraiment trop court ! Le petit-déjeuner est digne des grandes maisons, de quoi repartir avec plein de joie et de forces sur nos vélos ! Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce BnB
