Sleeping in straw is a unique experience. You lie on a soft layer of straw in one of the two cosy straw rooms, each with 10 beds. Group Tour of Your Hostess's Weaving Cellar

Two large handlooms stand in the weaving cellar of this nearly 300-year-old weaver's house in Bühler. Just as in the other 236 weaving workshops that existed throughout the village, weaving was carried out here during the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, the weaver's shuttle once again flies busily back and forth. The result is a range of items—hand towels, tea towels, table linens, and scarves made of linen or cotton, as well as sturdy shopping bags crafted from Finnish paper yarn. All products are available for purchase.

Weaving Projects from Combaz d'Amont

I have been reprocessing the wool from our sheep for three years. It is washed, dyed, carded, spun, and then woven into carpets. I would be happy to show you around my studio. The carpets are made to order in the sizes and colours customers want.

Guided Tour with a Beekeeper plus Honey Tasting

The organic beekeeping farm “Viamala” offers you the opportunity to ask questions about honeybees, harvesting, year-round care, and bee products. Bruno and Martina have been managing their own bee colonies for over 30 years and have acquired a wealth of knowledge. You can book a guided tour or, depending on the season, simply observe one of them at work. A 2.5-hour excursion with honey tasting: minimum CHF 150 (CHF 30 per person).
